🌍 IP Reputation & Geolocation

Look up any IPv4 address — country, ISP, ASN, and proxy/datacenter detection. Useful for threat investigation and log analysis.

IPv4 address to look up. Private/reserved ranges will be flagged.

📚 IP geolocation and threat intelligence

Every device on the internet has an IP address. When investigating a suspicious login, attack, or email, the source IP is often the first thing security teams look up.

Datacenter IPs are a red flag for automated attacks — bots, credential stuffing, and scanners almost always run from cloud providers. Legitimate users typically connect from ISP/residential IPs.

VPN/Proxy detection is imprecise — many legitimate users use VPNs for privacy. Treat it as a signal, not a verdict.

Geolocation accuracy: IP geolocation is approximate — city-level accuracy is typically 50-75%, country-level is ~95%+. Never make access decisions based on geolocation alone.
