Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate only specific pages?
Yes. Specify individual page numbers or ranges. Pages not selected remain at their original orientation.
Does rotation affect text extraction?
If the text was embedded rotated in the original, rotating the page visually corrects it but the underlying text direction may still be stored at the original angle.
Why does a scanned page look correct on screen but rotated when printed?
The PDF viewer may auto-rotate the page based on text direction. Check the actual stored page orientation in the PDF viewer settings.
Is rotation permanent?
Yes, the downloaded PDF has the rotation permanently applied. Keep a copy of the original if you need to undo it.
